Dust off those welding helmets and don those leg warmers! FLASHDANCE THE MUSICAL, the theatrical adaptation of the phenomenal 1983 Paramount Pictures film of the same name, will be at the Providence Performing Arts Center for its 2013-14 The Taco/The White Family Foundation Broadway Series on March 25 to 30, 2014.
With the dream of becoming a professional dancer in her heart, 18-year old Alex waits for her chance to join the Shipley Dance Academy while making ends meet as an exotic dancer during the night and a steel factory welder during the day. FLASHDANCE THE MUSICAL tells her inspiring story through its spectacular choreography and thrilling musical score full of unforgettable 80s hits.
FLASHDANCE THE MUSICAL will be at the Providence Performing Arts Center on March 25 and 26 (Tuesday and Wednesday) at 7 PM, on March 27 and 28 (Thursday and Friday) at 7:30 PM, on March 29 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on March 30 (Sunday) at 1 PM and 6:30 PM.
