Kinky Boots Appleton | Fox Cities Performing Arts Center

Fabulous drag entertainers troop to Appleton this fall to open the the blockbuster 2015-2016 season of Kimberly Clark Broadway Across America Fox Cities! Kinky Boots, the sensational Broadway show that won six Tony Awards in 2013 including Best Musical, is all set to take over the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center for eight performances on October 13 to 18, 2015.

Kinky Boots, the stunning high heeled hit from the Great White Way, is a joyous celebration of friendship. Based on an inspiring real-life story, Kinky Boots follows Charlie Price, a young businessman who takes over their family’s shoe business left by his father. As he tries to keep their gentleman’s shoe factory afloat, help comes from the unlikely quarter – Lola, a glamorous drag artist looking for some sturdy stilettos. With Jerry Mitchell’s choreography and direction and Harvey Fierstein’s book, Kinky Boots features Cyndi Lauper’s Tony Award winning score.

Don’t miss the spectacular Kinky Boots performances at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center at 7:30 PM on October 13 to 16 (Tuesday to Friday), at 2 PM and 7:30 PM on October 17 (Saturday), and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on October 18 (Sunday). Including a 20-minute intermission, Kinky Boots plays for 2 hours and 25 minutes.
