Once Providence | Providence Performing Arts Center

After taking the Great White Way by storm, sweeping the 2012 Tony Awards nominations, and winning eight Tonys, Once is out to conquer America with its widely-anticipated National Tour set to be launched in Providence. Opening on October 1, 2013, Once will be at the Providence Performing Arts Center as part of its 36th Anniversary season – The Taco/The White Family Foundation Broadway Series – until October 6, 2013.

Adapted from the indie movie that won in the 2007 Academy Awards, Once retells the touching story of a dispirited Irish singer/musician and of a Czech immigrant who inspires him to pursue his dreams. Drawn and bound by their shared love for music, their budding friendship and promising musical collaboration progress into a profound yet complicated relationship – a captivating love story that is told onstage with eloquence, humanity, and simple grace.

Experience the captivating Once shows at the Providence Performing Arts Center on October 1 and 2 (Tuesday and Wednesday) at 7 PM, on October 3 and 4 (Thursday and Friday) at 7:30 PM, on October 5 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on October 6 (Sunday) at 1 PM and 6:30 PM.
