A mysterious performance troupe and a young prince are now on the road to Durham! Pippin, the acclaimed revival of the beloved Broadway classic by Stephen Schwartz, will take up residence in Durham during the exciting 2014-2015 Broadway season. Opening on May 12, 2015, Pippin has a week-long engagement at the Durham Performing Arts Center until May 17.

After four long decades, Pippin made its sensational comeback on Broadway and is now all set to enchant its Durham audience as part of its widely-anticipated National Tour. Telling the captivating story of a prince on a journey to discover the meaning of his existence, Pippin is the breathtaking musical production that Durham should not dare miss! It features Diane Paulus’ brilliant direction, Stephen Schwartz’ fantastic musical score, Roger Hirson’s beloved book, and Les 7 Doigts De La Main’s awe-inspiring acrobatics.

Durham, prepare to be amazed as Pippin takes over the Durham Performing Arts Center stage at 7:30 PM on May 12 to 14 (Tuesday to Thursday), at 8 PM on May 15 (Friday), at 2 PM and 8 PM on May 16 (Saturday), and at 1 PM and 6:30 PM on May 17 (Sunday). The running time of Pippin is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
