Sister Act Atlanta | Fox Theatre

Sister Act Atlanta | Fox Theatre

It’s going to be a glorious summer in Seattle as the hit Broadway musical ‘Sister Act’ comes to the Paramount Theatre from April 23 to 28, 2013.

Based on the ‘90s cult film starring Academy Award winner Whoopi Goldberg, ‘Sister Act’ follows Deloris Van Cartier, a wannabe singer who after witnessing a crime, has had her life turned upside down. From her glamorous and high-rolling ways as a club diva, she was forced to embrace a life of piety, prayer, asceticism and worship. Though it seemed like she had a hard time fitting in at first, her newly gained sister friends, including the initially suspicious Mother Superior, gave her plenty of reasons to turn her sister act into more than a mere disguise, but as a way of seeing and doing things differently and this time, with a higher and better purpose.

Show times for ‘Sister Act’ in Seattle are at 7:30 PM from August 20 to 22, 8 PM on August 23 and 24, and 6:30 PM on August 25. Matinee performances are at 2 PM on the 24th and 1 PM on the 25th. The performance running time is 2 hours 55 minutes with 1 intermission.
