Traces Los Angeles | Dorothy Chandler Pavilion

Traces Los Angeles | Dorothy Chandler Pavilion

‘Traces’ returns to Los Angeles in spring 2013 for a limited weekend run, this time via the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at the Music Center from April 26 to 28, 2013.

Call it ‘Stomp’ meets ‘Cirque du Soleil’, ‘Traces’ is the innovative and fresh urban acrobatic production from the visionaries of Canadian circus team 7 Fingers. Try to catch your breath and track your heartbeat with the death-defying stunts this 7-man company has in store. Street inspired, vibrant, profound and interactive, ‘Traces’ humanizes its performers by exposing themselves – not literally – with stories, thoughts or mundane statements equating to a Facebook status. Combine that with awesome stunts that employ everyday objects and turn routine tasks into dangerous but amazing physical feats then you have what The Guardian calls as “circus for the Facebook generation.” It is circus for today’s fast-paced, ultra-modern and overtly expressive times, but it is also perfect for families looking for an identifiable and groundbreaking yet age-appropriate theatrical piece.

‘Traces’ will play the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at 7:30 PM on April 26th and 27th with a matinee performance at 2 PM on April 28th. The performance running time is 90 minutes with no intermission.
