Wicked Norfolk | Chrysler Hall

The iconic Wicked Witch of the West is set to visit Norfolk this fall! Wicked, the spectacularly high-flying and record-breaking Broadway show that presents an interesting angle on the treasured classic tale of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, joins the exciting 2014 – 2015 season of Broadway in Norfolk. Opening on November 26, 2014, Wicked has a 16-performance engagement at the Chrysler Hall until December 7, 2014.

An interesting re-imagination of a treasured classic, Wicked tells the untold tales of the major characters in the story of The Wizard of Oz. Discover how a passionate and smart young woman named Elphaba became the widely-reviled Wicked Witch of the West and how the spoiled, ambitious, and pretty Glinda became the well-loved Glinda the Good. In Wicked, revisit Oz and see it through a different set of lenses. Breathtakingly stunning, Wicked features award-winning costumes and sets, Stephen Schwartz’ wonderful musical score, and amazing stagecraft.

Let Wicked dazzle your imagination as it opens on November 26 (Wednesday) at 8 PM at the Chrysler Hall. The performances from Tuesdays through Fridays are at 8 PM, on Saturdays at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on Sundays at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. An additional matinee show is scheduled at 2 PM on December 4 (Thursday). The running time of Wicked is 2 hours and 45 minutes.
