Wizard of Oz Dallas | Music Hall at Fair Park

Wizard of Oz Dallas | Music Hall at Fair Park

Click your heels, one, two, three and see the Music Hall at Fair Park become magically transformed into the Land of Oz this March 2014. Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber works his theatre magic once again on the beloved tale by Frank L. Baum which was first brought to life on-screen with Judy Garland in the lead role as the girl from Kansas.

But Wizard of Oz is not simply a frame-by-frame stage adaptation of the classic film. Familiar songs and characters take to the stage, but Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, together with long-time collaborator, Tim Rice, also composed all new songs and musical numbers to expand the story and breathe new life into the characters we have all come to love.

So follow the Yellow Brick Road along with Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion, and of course Toto, as they seek help from the Wizard to escape the clutches of the Wicked Witch in their journey through Oz. The timeless tale comes to life in Dallas, Texas on March 18 through 30, 2014. The show starts at 7:30pm on all nights except Mondays and matinee performances begin at 1:30pm on weekends and some Thursdays.
