Book of Mormon New York | Eugene O’Neill Theatre

Book of Mormon New York | Eugene O’Neill Theatre

“The Book of Mormon”, an irreverent and highly comedic musical from the minds that brought us the satiric comedy series South Park, opened in Broadway’s Eugene O’ Neill Theatre this March to rave reviews and was watched by the biggest names in Broadway and television, along with hundreds to thousands of very satisfied and ‘laughed-out’ audiences.

Conceived by the multi-Emmy Award winning duo of Trey Parker and Matt Stone, “The Book of Mormon” tells the story of two Mormon missionaries who seemed like a wrong fit from the start. Their patience and faith with each other will be tested when they are sent to a Ugandan mission that has “screwed” written all over it.

Featuring the talents of Andrew Rannells, Josh Gad, Nikki M. James, Rory O’ Malley and Michael Potts, “The Book of Mormon” is directed by Parker and the Tony Award nominated director of “Spamalot”, Casey Nicholaw. Parker and Stone collaborated with Robert Lopez of “Avenue Q” fame for the music and lyrics, while Nicholaw choreographs.
