Celebrate the holidays with a different kind of Christmas story. Elf the musical is a new musical based on the 2003 film starring Will Ferrell about an elf who grew… and grew… and grew! Playing at the Barbara Mann Performing Arts Hall from November 27 to December 2, 2012 this is a holiday musical to bring the whole family.

Some years ago, a baby accidentally wandered onto Santa Claus’ sleigh and was whisked off to the North Pole. Raised to be an elf, little Buddy grows up and learns about his true identity and heads of to New York City to find his birth family. To his dismay, he finds his father, Walter, doesn’t believe in the spirit of Christmas and his younger brother Michael doesn’t even believe in Santa! Hoping to get his family back on the “nice” list, Buddy does everything he can to show them the true meaning of the holiday.

Elf at the Barbara Mann Performing Arts Hall with run from November 27 until December 2, 2012. An American Sign Language performance is scheduled at 11:00am on Saturday, December 2, 2012. All other evening and matinee show times will be announced shortly. The performance running time is 2 hours with 1 intermission.
