Ring the New Year with a splash of water and scream “what a feeling!” as we celebrate the premiere and crossing over of the transcending and iconic film phenomenon ‘Flashdance’ from the silver screen to the Great White Way and in theaters all across America. No other musical has simultaneously undertaken a Broadway debut and a first national tour to mark its world premiere. As part of its national tour, ‘Flashdance’ will storm its way to Louisville, by way of the Kentucky Center from January 15 to 20, 2013. Relive and be electrified over and over by Alex Owens’ inspiring journey alongside the unforgettable dance themes that immortalized this film and pop culture cult such as ‘Gloria’, ‘Maniac’, ‘I Love Rock n’ Roll’, ‘Manhunt’, and of course, the titular theme ‘Flashdance – What a Feeling’.

Show times for ‘Flashdance’ in Louisville are at 7:30 PM from January 15 to 17, 8 PM on January 18 and 19, and 6:30 PM on January 20. Matinee performances are at 2 PM on the 19th and 1 PM on the 20th. The performance running time is 2 hours 35 minutes with 1 intermission.
