The Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis welcomes back the Boublil and Schonberg theatrical legend ‘Les Miserables’, slated for a two-week run in the city from October 16 to 28, 2012.
For more than 25 years, ‘Les Mis’ has established itself as a force to be reckoned with in musical theatre. This new production brought onstage by the renowned Cameron Mackintosh is a truly revitalized and more imaginative version while staying true to its original score and story, a story that celebrates the fierceness and tenacity of the human spirit and the dreamer in each of us. With a set design largely inspired by the artworks of Victor Hugo and compositions that birthed show standards such as “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” “Stars,” “Bring Him Home,” “Do You Hear the People Sing?,” “One Day More,” “Empty Chairs at Empty Tables,” “Master Of The House” and many more, ‘Les Miserables’ is indeed a theatrical masterpiece that everyone must see.
Show times for ‘Les Miserables’ in St. Louis are at 8 PM from Tuesdays to Saturdays and 7:30 PM on Sunday, October 21. Matinee performances are at 2 PM on Saturdays and Sundays with a special matinee on Thursday, October 25 at 1 PM. The performance running time is 2 hours 50 minutes with 1 intermission.
