Motown Musical Cincinnati | Procter & Gamble Hall

Nonstop Motown music fills Cincinnati this fall! Motown The Musical, the spectacularly sensational and record breaking musical from the Great White Way based on the story of Motown label founder Berry Gordy, opens the exciting 2015-2016 season of Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Cincinnati. Opening on September 8, 2015, Motown The Musical has a two-week engagement at the Aronoff Center for the Arts’ Procter & Gamble Hall until September 20, 2015.

Way before Motown music ruled the airwaves, Berry Gordy was an aspiring featherweight boxer. Eventually, his path took him to establish the Motown label. As a heavyweight music tycoon, Gordy not only launched the careers of many legendary singers but also propelled Motown music to the top of the charts. Telling not only Gordy’s personal story, Motown The Musical also takes its audience behind the scenes and tells the tales behind many of the unforgettable Motown hit songs.
