From the halls of the Great White Way, Motown The Musical is finally setting course for Durham! In town for one week during the exciting 2014-2015 Broadway Durham season, Motown The Musical is set to take control of the Durham Performing Arts Center stage from February 17 to 22, 2015.
One of the biggest hits of the recent Broadway season, Motown The Musical is the critically acclaimed new jukebox musical based on Motown founder Berry Gordy’s autobiography. It tells not only the irresistible story of one man but also of the music that helped change racially-segregated America and of the Motown family that gave the world many legendary hits like “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.” In Motown The Musical, discover the stories behind many Motown songs that the world has come to love.
Feel the groove and experience Motown magic as Motown The Musical opens at the Durham Performing Arts Center at 7:30 PM on February 17 (Tuesday). The performances on February 18 to 19 (Wednesday to Thursday) at 7:30 PM, on February 20 (Sunday) at 8 PM, on February 21 (Saturday) at 2 PM and 8 PM, and on February 22 (Sunday) at 1 PM and 6:30 PM. With one intermission, each Motown The Musical performance runs for 160 minutes.
