Extra, extra! Read all about it! Disney’s Newsies is coming to Baltimore, and they’ve packed heart-pounding, explosive dance numbers to bring with them. For one week only at the start of the Christmas season, see the Broadway musical that critics have been raving about at the Hippodrome Theatre.

The headlines are all praises for Newsies, the Tony Award winning musical based on the movie that will have you dancing in the aisles. The paperboys become the Kings of New York in this tale inspired by true events when the boys who deliver the news band together to fight for their rights against the Goliath publishers who run the New York press. Join them in this high-energy, inspirational musical that the whole family can enjoy.

The Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore transforms into NYC for Disney’s Newsies from December 2 through 7, 2014. The underdogs take over the stage at 8:00pm from Tuesday through Saturday, and at 6:30pm on Sunday. Afternoon shows are at 2:00pm on Saturday, and 1:00pm on Sunday. The run time on Newsies is two and a half hours with a fifteen minute intermission injected into the middle.
