Extra! Extra! Read all about it! The news world gets turned upside down when the kids who deliver and sell the daily papers decide to stand up for their rights and push their way into the headlines. Newsies is the Tony Award winning musical for Best Score and Best Choreography based on the Disney film of the same name.
Don’t be the last to hear the news! Bring the whole family to see Newsies at the Belk Theatre of the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center from January 6 through 11, 2015. Performances on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday will be at 7:30pm, and at 8:00pm on Friday. Saturday shows are at 2:00pm and 8:00pm, and the final shows on Sunday will be at 1:00pm and 7:00pm. The running time for Newsies in Charlotte is 2 and a half hours with a 15 minute intermission.
