The Tony Award winning drama ‘War Horse’ comes to Boston for a two-week run at the Boston Opera House from October 10 to 21, 2012.

‘War Horse’ follows the story of Albert and his beloved horse Joey. As the dark days of World War I dawned upon England, Joey gets sold to the Cavalry to fight for both warring camps till he ends up in a deserted land. Albert’s unwavering dedication and loyalty to his beloved horse motivates him to stop at nothing, not even his tender age, as he embarks on a dangerous journey to search and rescue Joey and bring him back home.

Show times for ‘War Horse’ in Boston are at 7:30 PM from Tuesdays to Thursdays, 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 6:30 PM on Sundays. Matinee performances are at 2 PM on Saturdays and 1 PM on Sundays with a special matinee on October 11, Thursday at 1 PM. The performance running time is 2 hours and 40 minutes with 1 intermission.
