‘War Horse’ conquers Seattle in February 2013 as it is slated to play the Paramount Theatre from the 13th to the 24th. Join Albert in his quest to retrieve his beloved horse Joey after he was sold to the cavalry at the dawn of World War I in England. After experiencing the carnage between countries from the front lines, Joey ends up in a deserted land while Albert musters the courage to embark on a dangerous and self-imposed charge to be reunited with him. Their unwavering loyalty and unconditional dedication to each other clearly transcends the bounds of speech, physical form and even the perils of war, a message that never ceases to resonate even in today’s modern times. The performance running time is 2 hours and 40 minutes with 1 intermission.
